Hours and Scheduling Guidelines

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8 am-5 pm and 7 am-4 pm on Tuesday. If you cannot keep an appointment, kindly notify us 24 hours in advance.

Getting Started

Initial Appointment

Your first visit with us is complimentary! Before you arrive at our office, we ask that you please complete our online forms or print and fill out our forms and bring them with you.

At this preliminary examination, we will typically begin by taking a diagnostic panoramic X-ray, followed by the doctor’s orthodontic exam to assess and discuss your particular orthodontic needs and define a plan of treatment, if needed. If treatment is indicated, we will determine and discuss with you the fees and approximate length of treatment. If you desire to proceed, we will finish the remaining diagnostic records (cephalometric X-ray, study models, intra-oral and facial photographs) at this same visit.

Consultation

For more complex cases, or for cases in which there may be more that one option of treatment*, an additional consultation appointment may be recommended, generally a week or two after the orthodontic records are taken.

*When more than one option of treatment is presented, we will discuss the pros and cons of each option, what outcome to expect, and any difference in fees. While we always desire that our patents opt for the most ideal or comprehensive plan, we are sensitive to individual circumstances and concerns and will customize a plan for you accordingly.

***The above three steps are just a general outline. For instance, some of the three appointments may be combined if time allows and you are ready to move forward. As you can see, getting started requires a good foundation to help ensure a great outcome!

***We also understand that there may be more than one option for each patient’s condition, especially for adult patients in need of multi-disciplinary care. While we always encourage the most comprehensive plan, we are sensitive to individual circumstances and concerns. If there are multiple options, we hope to educate you about each choice, discussing the pros and cons and what can be expected in the future.

Insurance and Financial Policies

A beautiful smile and a healthy bite is an investment that will last a lifetime. The cost of treatment varies for each patient and is based on severity, age, and length of treatment. We offer a variety of payment options, after establishing the fee for services.

We are sensitive to individual circumstances and attempt to work with each family or individual on a case-by-case basis. There is a discount for payment in full at the beginning of treatment. Though, most choose to place an initial down payment and then pay the balance in monthly payments. There are no fees or interest charges associated with our payment plans. We accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard.

We accept and encourage insurance. To ensure you receive the maximum benefit to which you are entitled, we handle the filing of claims. Additionally, we will accept the assignment directly from your insurance carrier.
